Bat Guano
Diseases are associated with the droppings of bats. Not only is it important to remove the bats, but prevent them from returning.

Bat Exclusions
Expert Removal
Bat exclusions require meticulous detail to properly seal all possible points of entry. Any gap 3/8-inch or greater will permit a bat to enter, and often these areas are located in very difficult and even dangerous places on homes and structures.
Equally important is how these areas are sealed and the types of materials used. While some companies rely on cheap caulk and spray foam for a quick fix, ABC Humane uses only industrial adhesives and modern commercial backing material to match the color of your home.
ABC Humane is also at the forefront of modern bat capture and even manufactures some of its own bat traps which are capable of safely capturing 100 bats or more per night.
In isolated cases, single bats will sometimes invade the living space of an occupied dwelling, and ABC Humane makes every effort to remove the animal unharmed by the use of specialized tools and the care and expertise to use them.
Scheduling a Bat Exclusion
A proper bat exclusion on an average two-story home takes an average of 20-25 hours to complete. Because of the extended period of time required to perform a proper and detailed exclusion, ABC Humane is capable of completing only a limited number of jobs within the legal bat season. Although a bat or two invading the living space of a home or business can be rescued at any time, the season for excluding them from the roosts can only be done from April 1 through April 30, and again from August 16 through October 31. Winter exclusions from November 1 through March 30 are permitted but not advisable, as some bats do hibernate within homes and could easily be sealed in. Of special note, anyone caught excluding bats from May 1 through August 15 are acting illegally.
